BIO
Elizabeth Rowan is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200)
with the Yoga Alliance. Elizabeth received her 200 hour yoga teaching training certificate from Anahata Yoga, Hong Kong, in 2011 while studying under Yogananth Andiappan, son of internationally renowned yoga master Dr. Asana Andiappan of Chennai, India. She is also a certified Pranakriya prenatal yoga teacher, taught in the Kripalu tradition by Jacci Reynolds and certified as a Radiant Child Yoga Teacher by Shakta Khalsa. She is CPR/AED certified and fully insured.
Elizabeth is a frequent contributor to MindBodyGreen and Asana Journal.
Elizabeth currently teaches Hatha, yin, prenatal and children's yoga and offers private, duet and group instruction both in-home and on location in Savannah, Georgia, U.S.

WHY YOGA
Simply put, why not? Yoga is a proven route to health, wellness and oneness of the mind, body and spirit. An ancient practice developed in India some 5,000 years ago that is a perfect counter to the stress, demands and health concerns of the modern world. A strong body and settled mind? Yes, please.
